Taphath was a daughter of King Solomon who married Ben-Abinadab. Taphath's husband was one of the 12 district officers overseeing the land of Israel for Solomon and was stationed in a town named Naphoth Dor.
Taphath is mentioned once in the Bible, in 1 Kings 4:11.
The name Taphath means "a drop of myrrh" or "stacti."
