DISPERSION OF ISRAEL
The worldwide scattering of Jews began during ancient times and continued when the Romans exiled them from Jerusalem and the surrounding area between 70 AD and 135 AD. Jews moved into communities throughout Africa, Asia and Europe. By way of Europe, they later established communities on the other continents.
