In Bethphage, Jesus told two of his disciples to get a donkey in preparation for Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. Jesus rode the donkey into Jerusalem, fulfilling a prophecy in Zechariah 9:9, which speaks of a great king presenting himself to the people in a most humble way, on the back of a lowly donkey. See Matthew 21:1-11.
Bethphage appears in 3 Bible verses: Matt 21:1, Mark 11:1 and Luke 19:29.
