Hephzibah was the wife of King Hezekiah and mother of their son, Manasseh, who ruled as king over Judah for 55 years. She and her husband were godly whereas their son Manasseh was ungodly.
Hephzibah is mentioned by name in 2 Kings 21:1.
In Isaiah 62:4, Zion is symbollically called Hephzibah in the context of being restored:
"No longer will they call you Deserted,
or name your land Desolate.
But you will be called Hephzibah,
and your land Beulah" (Isaiah 62:4, NIV).
Beulah means married.
The name Hephzibah means "my delight is in her."
Next person in the Bible: Herod Antipas
