Hamutal was the wife of King Josiah and the mother of two sons who became kings. Her son Jehoahaz reigned in Jerusalem for three months. And her son Zedekiah reigned in Jerusalem for 11 years. She was the daughter of a man named Jeremiah and she was born in the town of Libnah.
The name Hamutal means "kinsman of dew" or "father-in-law of dew."
