Euodia or Euodias

Euodia, which sometimes is translated as Euodias, was a a female member of the church at Philippi, during the time of Paul the Evangelist. She is mentioned once in the Bible, in the New Testament epistle of Philippians. There, Paul writes:

"I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord" (Philippians 4:2, NIV).

The name Euodia means "good journey."
